Oliver Pritchard Jones began his musical career at school in Bickerton when he picked up a saxophone with his classmates in his final year. His love of Jazz grew quickly resulting on one Sunday afternoon, he opened a show at Ronnie Scott’s London jazz club. His musical journey continued with training with international performer Chris Gumley and a place at the Royal Birmingham Junior Conservatoire enveloping Oliver in the world of classical Saxophone.

He is studying at the Leeds Conservatoire training in both Classical and jazz and has feet in both worlds. He has worked on multiple projects ranging from saxophone choirs all the way to interpretative modern dance collaborations as well as performing in the Leeds Jazz Fest 2023 and alongside the Manchester Camerata in a community music project.
