This concert will last approximately 50 minutes.

The Millennium Quintet, made up of flute, oboe, french horn, bassoon and clarinet, are a newly formed ensemble, all are current students and alumni of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. The group were brought together by its shared enthusiasm for chamber music and exploring new and exciting repertoire for the wind quintet, the group are really enjoying the unique atmosphere the ensemble creates.

Millennium Quintet have recently been enjoying exploring new music and collaborating with up and coming composers. Recent projects include premiering a new work in the CODA festival at the Royal Birmingham conservatoire. The group are soon to be collaborating with another composer as ensemble in residence at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for the Birmingham New Music student led concert series.
