Ben Jarvis is a 21 year old Trumpet player currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He began learning the cornet at the age of 10 whilst playing in brass bands which played a huge part in his musical development. Whilst on an ABRSM scholarship to the Junior RNCM Ben studied with Tim Barber before joining the RNCM in 2018 under the tutelage of Murray Greig. During his time there Ben has been involved in many orchestral projects, including Principal seat for the induction for Orff’s Carmina Burana and Principal trumpet for the RNCM Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Mahler 5.

Henry Cash is 22 and from Huddersfield. He attended the prestigious Chetham’s School of Music from the age of thirteen, before which he was mostly self-taught. In 2017 he was awarded a scholarship to study with Rustem Hayroudinoff at the Royal Academy of Music and in 2021 recieved a scholarship to study with Colin Stone at the RNCM. He has had success in many music competitions including 1st prize at the 2016 RNCM Chopin competition, being named the 2016 Pendle Young Musician of the Year and in 2018 he was named Kirklees Musician of the Year. In August 2016 he was appointed a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM).
