This concert will last approximately 50 minutes.

James Orford has given recitals at venues all over the UK, including St Paul’s, Westminster, and Liverpool Cathedrals, several Cambridge college chapels, and the Royal Festival Hall. His recital includes one of the concertos from his transcription of Vivaldi’s L’estro Armonico, which he has recently recorded to great acclaim.

Organ Renewal Project at Leeds Town Hall

Work on the renewal of the Town Hall organ is well under way. Apart from the massive front pipes, which are stored on the floor of the stalls awaiting redecoration, the organ has been completely removed to Nicholson & Co’s workshop in Malvern.
