A recital of two parts… The first half pairs two favourite duo sonatas, both with particularly exquisite slow movements. In the second half, something a little different: Elena and Tom’s #UriPosteJukeBox lifted spirits during the 2020 lockdown, and earned them the Royal Philharmonic’s Inspiration Award and a BBC Music Magazine Award. For the live JukeBox experience, the duo presents their trademark eclectic selection of music, ranging from classical gems to Tom’s Great American Songbook arrangements, from brand new works to ‘60s’ hits and more! Music from South America (including Clarice Assad and Carlos Gardel) and Australasia will feature in the set, and audience members will also have a chance to vote on what they would most like to hear. We hope this final concert of the calendar year sends you home with a spring in your step!
