The Inventus Quintet comprises of fourth year students from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. The Quintet has a busy concert diary which takes it to various parts of the country, and this year it has been invited to give a recital as part of the Chipping Campden International Music Festival. The Inventus Quintet has entered various competitions, reaching the final in the 2017 Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Prize and winning the 2018 Leamington Music Prize: a cheque of £1000 and a concert in the 2018/19 Leamington Music Winter Season.
This lively and friendly ensemble offers repertoire that ranges from the Classical era to present day
compositions. The Quintet aims to share and expand the knowledge of chamber music, and offers outreach to schools and workshops to all ages.
