After the concert Tim Lowe teaches an open masterclass as part of Pro Corda’s programme in celebration of its fiftieth anniversary year. All welcome.
Tim Lowe is quickly emerging as one of the new generation of outstanding young British cellists. He is established as a recitalist and chamber musician, appearing regularly in festivals throughout the UK and Europe, and is currently Guest Principal Cello of the English Chamber Orchestra with whom he tours in the UK and internationally.
Andrew Quartermain is CEO and Artistic Director of Pro Corda Trust, one of the largest music charities and course providers in Europe. As a pianist, Andrew has collaborated with some of the world’s leading artists and was a prize winner at the Guildhall where he studied after Cambridge.
His teaching stretches from coaching some of the UK’s most gifted instrumentalists to specialist work for children with autism through to an international film series for Adult Learners.
