In order to stay at home as much as possible and to control the virus and save lives; our concerts have been cancelled through to the end of July, as well as the remainder of the Summer Bands in Leeds Parks 2020 series. This enables us to protect the safety and well-being of our audiences and staff as we manage the ongoing impact of COVID-19 in Leeds. 

 
Support Leeds Town Hall

The loss of ticket sales for cancelled events during these unprecedented times is of great concern, particularly as we look to the future and the redevelopment plans for Leeds Town Hall. With this in mind, we ask if you would consider making a donation to help sustain Leeds Town Hall – perhaps the most iconic and best loved building in the city, and one of such historic value to the people of Leeds and beyond. If preferred, ticket holders can choose to add credit to their account to use on a future performance. Refunds (minus the booking fee) are also available.

If you have bought tickets to any of our events a member of our Box Office team will be in touch with you shortly. If you have any queries please contact: boxoffice@leeds.gov.uk and allow our team to either respond via email or call you back. If that’s not possible, please call the team on 0113 376 0318 (Mon-Fri between 10am and 4pm). There may be a short wait as our Box Office team are now working remotely. Voicemail messages will be collected on a regular basis and someone will get back to you at the earliest opportunity. Please be assured that you will be contacted either by email, telephone or post. We won’t forget you.

The UK’s Finest Brass Bands come to Morley

Leeds Best of Brass 2019/20 at Morley Town Hall features eight of the most successful contesting brass bands in the world. Performances by Black Dyke Band, 2019 Welsh Champion, Tredegar Town Band, and the world-famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band take audiences up to the end of the year. Followed by Brighouse & Rastrick Band - the best and most consistent ‘public subscription band’ in the world, 2018 French Open Champion, Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band, Lancashire’s finest Leyland Band, 2018 National Brass Band Champion, Foden’s Band and Leeds’ very own Rothwell Temperance Band.

Leeds Best of Brass Series compere, Simon Lindley, says:

“We are so fortunate in Leeds to have a series of concerts dedicated to brass bands where we can hear the amazing colour, vitality and thrilling sound of great brass band music. Each concert is unique as the bands perform a wide range of music from traditional marches to big band favourites. There is always such lovely atmosphere at these concerts and the audience always make myself and the bands feel so welcome.” 

Concerts take place at Morley Town Hall on Saturdays 19 October, 16 November, 7 December, and continue into 2020 on 18 January, 8 February, 7 March, 4 April and 25 April.
