In order to stay at home as much as possible and to control the virus and save lives; our concerts have been cancelled through to the end of July, as well as the remainder of the Summer Bands in Leeds Parks 2020 series. This enables us to protect the safety and well-being of our audiences and staff as we manage the ongoing impact of COVID-19 in Leeds.

Support Leeds Town Hall

The loss of ticket sales for cancelled events during these unprecedented times is of great concern, particularly as we look to the future and the redevelopment plans for Leeds Town Hall. With this in mind, we ask if you would consider making a donation to help sustain Leeds Town Hall – perhaps the most iconic and best loved building in the city, and one of such historic value to the people of Leeds and beyond. If preferred, ticket holders can choose to add credit to their account to use on a future performance. Refunds (minus the booking fee) are also available.

If you have bought tickets to any of our events a member of our Box Office team will be in touch with you shortly. If you have any queries please contact: and allow our team to either respond via email or call you back. If that’s not possible, please call the team on 0113 376 0318 (Mon-Fri between 10am and 4pm). There may be a short wait as our Box Office team are now working remotely. Voicemail messages will be collected on a regular basis and someone will get back to you at the earliest opportunity. Please be assured that you will be contacted either by email, telephone or post. We won’t forget you.

Until it is safe to welcome audiences back to our events we’ll continue to share content on our website and social media channels, where we’ll also keep you informed of any changes and their implications as soon as we can.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support during these difficult times. Keep safe and well.

With kind regards
Leeds Arts Events & Venues Team

Lunchtime Organ Music Series

The 2017/18 Lunchtime Organ Music Series closed with a wonderful concert from the season's curator, Darius Battiwalla, on Monday 26 March. We asked for your feedback on the series and we got a huge number of lovely comments. Thank you to everyone who gave their feedback, it is very much appreciated. The series couldn't continue without your support so thank you to everyone who came to the concerts to show their support of this free series. Below are some of our favourite comments, we hope you enjoy reading them and we look forward to welcoming you back in September for another fantastic series of Lunchtime Organ concerts.

If you would like to give us feedback or be added to our mailing list you can call us on 0113 378 6600, email us at or you can post your comments and/or address to Leeds International Concert Season, Leeds Town Hall, The Headrow, Leeds, LS1 3AD.

"The free concerts are wonderful. They get people out of their houses to enjoy a great event together, especially men, who really enjoy chatting to each other. The music and musicians are first class."

"Super music, you need long legs to play the organ."

"The format is excellent, do not change and keep Darius Battiwalla who had been wonderful and has followed Dr Simon Lindley and improved with every concert. Even now telling jokes?!"

"Has been a great series of recitals/concerts. Very enjoyable."

"This season has a good variety. I particularly like the concerts with a choir."

"Congratulations to Darius on a very successful and enjoyable first series. Love the high quality of the performers."

"Please continue lunchtime concerts - brighten up the working week."

"I am a regular at the lunchtime concerts. I enjoy all types of music and unusual repertoire."

"I hope Leeds City Council will keep these recitals going for years to come. And I wish I had discovered them a lot earlier - all those wasted Monday lunchtimes!"
